Green Mountain College welcomes international students – average award: $16,000 per year :
During the 2008-2009 academic year, 90 percent of international students received financial assistance. The average institutional grant or scholarship for international students was $16,000. Although Green Mountain College is committed to rewarding international students with excellent academic records, you should be aware that we still expect you to contribute significantly to your own education. Scholarships are available from other outside sources, and we are willing to work with you to find other opportunities for financial assistance.
Foreign Press Association Scholarship for FOREIGN GRADUATE STUDENTS OF JOURNALISM:
The Foreign Press Association is offering a minimum of three scholarships to foreign graduate students of journalism in the United States, First Prize of $10,000.00, Second Prize of $7,500.00 and Third Prize of $5,000.00. The awards are meant to encourage the pursuit of a career in journalism focusing on international affairs.
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) Scholarships FOR WOMEN FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES:
For students from developing countries who are currently studying in the United States or Canada, the MMMF awardsof approximately $12,000 each; grants are not renewable.year, the MMMF also invites the recipientsWashington DC to participate in aday Awards Program organized in their honor.

Scholarships and Fellowships
Polytechnic Institute Scholarships for International Baccalaureate Diploma Applicants:
All admitted applicants are automatically considered for academic merit scholarships, which typically range from $10,000 to $25,000 per year. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Most noteworthy, valedictorians, salutatorians, and IB diploma graduates with a diploma score of 40 or greater admitted to WPI are guaranteed an academic merit scholarship worth a minimum of $19,000 per year.
Saint Mary’s College welcomes women from around the world – scholarships up to $17,000:
Qualified international applicants are eligible for both academic scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $17,000 per year and financial aid ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 per year. The deadline to apply is February 15, 2011. Students need to complete the application for admission and submit all required academic documents in order to be considered for admission to the College and for academic scholarships.
